My 2001 Honda Odyssey have started giving this starting problem where I have to press the key for couple of seconds before it actually starts.

Can it be related to the timing belt change and battery replacement I had about 2.5 months ago?

I did a jump start of the car about few days back, can a jump start damage car battery?

Once started I do not see any problem in the car.
Though yesterday I noticed, that immediate second and third start happened just like new..

Any clues?

Next time, turn on the ignition but do not crank it. Wait and count "One Thousand One" "One Thousand Two" ... up to ten and then crank. If it starts immediately, your fuel pressure regulator is leaking.
