Has anyone successfully reset their power windows module after replacing passenger window motor regulator, because the passenger side switch does not work up/down,
The master switch drivers side switch only works up and no down, anyone else had this type problem and how did you get it to work? After doing some reading and searching, the power window moduel needs to be reset, but I do not know the location of it. Thanks..

The reset procedure is in the owner's manual.

For 2003+ model years, perform the power window control unit reset procedure: Turn the ignition switch to OFF then back to ON (II). Move the driver's window all the way down by holding the AUTO DOWN position; when the window reaches the bottom, hold the driver's window switch in the AUTO DOWN position for 2 seconds. Move the driver's window all the way up without stopping to the AUTO UP position; when the window reaches the top, hold the driver's window switch in the AUTO UP position for 2 seconds.

problem

i got a chance replace the drivers side master switch and still the same problem. one strange thing was that i notice the heater seat was not working also, i did find the blown fuse, replaced it and its back to normal operations, but the passenger side remains the same.

would any know where the power module is located in the vehicle? because i am totally out of the ideas..

The 02 does not have a reset procedure for the power windows nor does it have a power window control unit. They are controlled by the Drivers and Passengers control units. I remember seeing several threads on the problem which was caused by plugging the wrong connectors togethed after replacing the window regulator. It blows the seat fuse and the window circuit. I don't remember anyone coming back and posting what they did to fix it. Guessing I think it stands a good chance of the multiplex control unit being blown. The only way to definitely determining the problem is to take the diagram and trace out the problem with a meter or Oscilloscope .

problem

That's probably why the reset didn't work, I do possibly remember fitting the window switch plug/grey into the speaker blue plug. I did check and trace for 12v power on the passenger window switch plug, it was present and trace to fuse block on passenger kick panel. Do think any of those diodes in the passenger window switch can be bad? It was mentioned that the circuitry of the power window systems start from the master drivers switch to the passengers. Side. Since the drivers control for passenger side only works the window to go up and the down does not work, so shouldn't concentrated on the drivers side? Thanks,

I'm trying this procedure and it doesn't work :( Window goes up, then bounces back. Goddamit

I saw somewhere during a Google search the exact problem you are having with your window. Goes up to the top and then comes back down several inches. You have a 2003 Ody, is that correct?
I don't remember where it was, but I'm sure you can find it. No, I don't remember if the fix was easy or not.

PS: Another method to try: 1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). 2. Move the power window all the way down by using the power window DOWN switch. 3. Open the driver's door. NOTE: Steps 4-7 must be done with 5 seconds of each other. 4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (O). 5. Push and hold the power window DOWN switch. 6. Turn the ignition switch ON (II). 7. Release the power window DOWN switch. Repeat Steps 4-7 three more times. 8. Wait 1 second. 9. Confirm the AUTO UP no longer works. If AUTO UP still works, go back to Step 1. 10. Move the power window all the way down using the power window DOWN switch. 11. Pull up and hold the power window UP switch until the power window is all the way up, then continue to hold the switch for 1 second. 12. Confirm that the power window control unit is reset by using the power window AUTO UP & AUTO DOWN function.

The long procedure is supposed to erase the up/down stored memory .
Yes, it is for a later yr Ody, but I thought I would throw it out there.
The three times thing is to make sure the memory is gone, and then you do the re-learn method that is in the manual.
If I find some other thing to try , I will post back.
Almost looks like the 'safety' feature is working improperly: the one where the window will stop going up if something is in the way, like your hand, etc.
