Welcome to this forum and congratulations on your new Odyssey. The two most common causes of a parasitic battery drain are a bad AC clutch relay and the side door rear latch. Given you are having side door issues, I would suspect that. A new latch part costs about $200 but some people have had success cleaning the faulty micro switches or replacing them.

Before you do that, others here will suggest methods of resetting the sliding door which may resolve your issue easily. I don’t recall those specifics.

Given your limited auto mechanic skills, you’ll need to find a good mechanic to help you.

Also, because you have the VCM engine you should read up on the VCM function and issues and then buy a device to muzzle (disable) your VCM.
