I used Honda Part World last month to buy my spare when I depaxed. They are a Honda dealer in Washington State. No problems with the purchase and they shipped quickly. My shipping charge was $35 to the LA, CA area. I tried off and on for 8 months to buy a spare from wrecking yards in the greater Los Angeles area and I never found one. Same with Ebay and Craiglist. My guess is depaxers are snapping them up.
@mtbiker: yes, it's very hard for me as well, Craiglist in my area (6 different cities) doesn't have any and I looked every single day. I ended purchasing a brand new one from HondaPartWorld.com yesterday, thanks mwmcginn for the link, my total was 207 and some change, the price for the whole kit was 169.
I have a spare tire/wheel for sale. I've had it on the Allentown craigslist for a few weeks and i thought i'd search "WTB Oddessey Spare" on google and found this thread. Let me know if your interested. Link to Craigslist ad (with pictures): Spare Wheel/Tire for Honda Pilot Ridgeline Oddessey
Bumping this thread. I hope people realize that the pax-spec'd vans didn't come with spares. Even thought there is a space, a kit is required both for the tire+wheel and the hardware to mount the whole thing.
Anyone know what the bolt pattern is on the doughnut tire?
yes my problem too.. my van was apparently depaxed and spare tire is a mission to find.. might have to pay for a new one at the dealer.. idk what the price is but if they charge 7.89 for a lug nut i would not surprise to be charged top dollar.. been looking like a mad man.
