2006 Odyssey with 170k <- Check Gas Cap & Engine light on with P0455 & P0456
Hi all,
I have tried to fix the 'Check Gas Cap' & Engine warning messages with P0455 & P0456, but can't pinpoint the exact part to replace.
1. Gas cap <-Ok
2. Evap Purge valve <- ok
3. Gas pump seal <- ok
4. Evap Canister <- ok
The weird thing is that when I tried to the Smoke test, none of gas cap, evap pipe, evap canister and gas pump seal leaked, but the actual 'Gasoline' was LEAKED OUT from the Top Right side of the fuel tank that it was actually dripping to make a puddle.
I think this leak is the main reason for Gas Cap message, but not sure which part of the gas tank actually PUSH out the gasoline from the fuel tank while smoke testing and WHY.
