I was unsucessful in a posting to another forum; maybe someone in this forum had a similar problem. My 2007 EX-L is set to lock the doors when reaching 9 mph, as set by the factory. A few weeks ago it started adding a beep right after the doors lock. I cannot figure out why (after searching the Owners Manual, asking the dealership, searching the forums, etc). If someone can tell me what is causing this irritating sound, and how to eliminate it, I would be deeply indebted! Thanks very much!

I don't remember an audible setting for the doors locking, have you gone through the sequence on the display where you change the door lock settings to see if there's a menu item for the sound?

Hi and thanks for the response! Yes, I did go thru all the procedures in the manual. However, I since have noted that the alarm does not sound all the time immediately after the doors lock. I cannot find any reason why that would be (eg, seat belts not on, windows open, bright lights switched on, door ajar). It has me baffled!

Are all the door locks and switches working correctly. Alarm being armed after locks set?
Hi and thanks for the response! Yes, all the locks work and the manual switch works fine. However, I since have noted that the alarm does not sound all the time immediately after the doors lock. I cannot find any reason why that would be (eg, seat belts not on, windows open, bright lights switched on, door ajar). I even stopped, put the trans in Park, and started again (with and without starting the engine); sometimes it sounds, sometimes it doesn't!! It has me baffled!

Hi and thanks for the response! Yes, the tailgate locks when the auto lock kicks in and the manual switch works fine. Since I first posted my inquiry, I have noted that the alarm does not sound all the time immediately after the doors lock. Sometimes it sounds, sometimes it doesn't!! It has me baffled! I think I am just going to have to live with it!! :(
