I am trying to change my cabin air filter. I Have the two stop plugs that are on each side of the glove box out. But there is an arm on the left side of the glove box that I can figure out how to release. Can anyone help me? the arm seems to be the only thing preventing me form dropping the glove box all the way down and getting to the cabin air filter behind.

2009 Cabin Air Filter Changeout

Thanks to HeavyDuty for the video on how to change the cabin air filter on my 2009 and thanks to him for saving me $130 plus at the dealer. It couldn't be any easier and the filter after 40k miles WAS dirty. Great Forum. :)

It couldn't be any easier and the filter :)

"couldn't be any easier" what a crock!!

On my Dodge, you just flip open a hatch and pull it out.

BTW the 2000 Ody is even more dumbfounding, you have to also cut a plastic rail to get it out, or pay for 1.5 hours of labor at the dealer.
