Anyone have any suggestions with regard to a cross country trip to see the U.S. Of A.? Anyone done this? Anyone suggest what to visit/see as you travel east to west? Also, what should I expect my 2011 Odyssey to do to make the trip easier/more relaxing?

Thanks!

St Augustine Florida, if you've never been. and then Savannah on the way to there. after FL head to New Orleans. after that it's a whole lot of Texas but stop in San Antonio. avoid Galveston like the plague!
then after Tejas, explore NM particularly Santa Fe and after that head to flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. if time allows this is where I would head north, up to Zion Natl park (after lake powell) and then check out SLC and the salt flats but beware of the salt, it gets all under the van spo power wash the underneath thoroughly.

then: montana if you're interested and then wash state, oregon and down into cali.
easy. a bit roller coaster but you'll get to see some great places.

roadtrip

Evanston, IL to LA then AL, back to Evanston.
In a hurrry or seeing the sites? You have the Blues Trail in MS. Civil Rights trail in Alabama. Dinner in NOLA suggested. Casinos in Biloxi/Gulfport, MS. Countless festivals if that's your thing. Plan how many miles you want to do in a day. Where you want to rest if you want to get there with daylight left or just stopping for sleep.
TN-BBQ festivals
AL-Strawberry fest on gulfcoast.
Baton rouge, HUGE water park.
Texas plan two days to get through.
Vegas, Circus Circus back in the day was fun. Lots more now.
Outside Vegas, Hoover Dam; see Transformers, was a nice tour.
LA, Farmer's Market & Universal Studios tour was fun years ago.
Nav? update your Gracenote music HD.
Triple digit heat index down south.
Royal purple syn oil. Drive safely.
