I have been taking my 2012 odyssey to Nissan for oil change because Honda service is too busy and you need to make an appointment. Nissan I can just pul in. One of Honda salesman told me that I only need to take my odyssey to Honda for oil change nowhere else, because it will last longer. Is that true?

A big advantage of taking it to the Honda dealer is that they will find other things wrong that also need to be fixed, so then it will last longer. At least, you'll keep paying the dealership longer.
