One brake light was working when i was told that I had a brake light out so I replaced both with SYLVANIA - 7443 Long Life Miniature - Bulb, Ideal for Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and Back-Up/Reverse Lights (Contains 2 Bulbs).
The bulbs I replaced were amber and the ones in the package were clear. I don't know if that matters, but after swapping out the brake light bulbs neither brake light worked.
I replaced the driver and passenger side bulbs and the bulb lights up when I put the lights on, but nothing when i push the brake pedal. The third brake light above the window on the tailgate is also not working, but I have not replaced that bulb yet.
My hazards, taillights and turn signals all work fine, but not the brake lights.
I changed the brake pedal switch and bought a Multi Block D Fuselink Fuse (8 Circuit) 32A w Screw for Odyssey ('11-'13) from amazon for the fuse box located next to the battery but I can't figure out how to remove the old one. I removed the screw and tried lifting it out but it doesn't budge and I am afraid I will break it.
I don't know if that is the problem but after reading some threads I thought I would try that, but I can't remove the fuse block.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Kevin
