2014 Odyssey #9 Fuse

The driver side power door on 2014 Honda Odyssey #9 fuse continually blows. We’ve gone through about 15 fuses in the past year and more if I’d have replaced it each time. It often happens when you try to manually open the door from outside. When it happens I cannot open or close the door on my own. We’ve had it into a shop and tried many things.
grateful for ideas.

unplug the cess assembly harness from the door and observe if you keep popping fuses.

its also helpful if you identify the fuse panel location, as there are many..

have you also tried the leaving the dash switch off for a period, and observed if fuses blow.

The fuse box is under the steering column and its fuse number nine it controls the drivers sliding door. Haven’t tried your suggestions yet but will.

Try put 60A fuse! just kidding.

In terms of electrical approach, fuse can keep blow up if ground isn't connected or the wire became 'bare' and keep shortening it. You should inspect the wires all over the door if any wires became bare (who knows? mouse/squirtles might have gotten in for chewing)

I know this will be going down to a long rabbit hole, but if all other process of elimination fails, this just might be, as rare as it can be, the problem.

what does the fuse look like? melted or burned inside the lil glass window?

burned means short, melted means load.

It’s a short. Somewhere I guess. Just hoping someone in here has experienced this and have ideas.

To be more clear, the "CESS Harness" is the corrugated wiring bundle that runs from the van to the sliding doors. It is replaceable separately and is easily damaged by careless kids (or adults) or just use.
