Looks to me like they were begging for VCM to be disabled. The last 13k of VCM-free operation seems to have cleaned them up a bit.

Looks like 100k mile plugs that had plenty of VCM operation - but no permanent damage likely.

Keep on truckin' - or vannin' or whatever.

Not surprising, but still very impressive that the electrodes look practically like new at 100k miles. Mine at 105k looked even a little better.

The electrodes used to be the things that would wear out and require replacement of spark plugs. Now that they make them to last forever ... ?

BTW, for people looking at spark plugs to confirm real vs. fake, the two electrode tips are the most important things to look at - they should look like these. Both electrodes with a thin platinum / iridium / ruthenium tip.
