body shops don't do much body repair these days, the labour to change the part and paint is less.

they will have no choice on that rear quarter but to do some pulling banging and bondo or cut out the section and put in a new piece.
The door and skirt will likely be changed.

Those plastic color matched skirts are damn expensive and a dealer only part, you might get lucky and find one on car-part.
I think I paid 600 for mine at the dealer after a teenager mishap.

 

I would expect the higher end toward $5k. I just got quoted scraps to the back bumper and a related small imperfection to the side above the rear tire, no bodywork just sand and paint 2 panels and it was over $2k at the dealer.

 

You will definitely be closer to 5k (unless you 'know a guy'). New door skin and traditional bodywork on the fender.

 

Someone guy at a supermarket parking lot told me he could fix it for $600 and it will take 1 hour and he could fix it in the parking lot. Im sure I will bump into him again soon but my answer will still be no to him.

 

This looks like your fault. If it were me, I would table the claim all together, buff out what I can, touch up the bare metal and call it a day if the door is working fine. Repaint v/s leaving it alone will have the same effect on diminished value which I learned a long time after I got my panels repainted for a minor mishap.

 

I would hold off body shop repair until a salvage door and skirt in correct color could be located, then find an independent garage to put the door on. Only then get a quote for quarter repair and skirt install.

 

Fixed for $950.

not bad... a bit of compound or wet sanding and elbow grease on that skirt and you could make it 80-90%
