We have 2 identical vans in our work fleet, both purchased at the same time. One of them has popped this code along with the (brake, LKAS, ACC, and can't use cruise control) lights on the dash. Luck has it, both vans have the SAME part number on both the radar module in the grille and on the camera above the rearview mirror - I swapped them both from the working van to the non-working van - the issue is still there! I tried every possible reset, I can go thorough AUTEL ADAS and get into calibration mode, but I dont have the whole setup - so the protocol stops when it doesn't read the targets...Is there another component to this Grille Radar and Camera that can throw the code? I have seen discussion in regards to a control CARD for the system? The battery is fully charged, there was NO accident and the windshiels is original.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the ODY Forum!
Even though you have exchanged both the module behind the grille and the module in the windshield, it still requires to be calibrated. Think of it this way of a older car that used glass headlights. You can replace them and they will turn on, however they will not be properly aligned on the road ahead of you in both the x/y axis/ So they had to be aligned. It's the same thing with the camera module it has to be aligned for it to work properly.

Had the van to a specialized ADAS Calibration facility - they were unable to calibrate and reset. They think there may be a problem with the ECM under the steering colum. DOes anyone know the location, part number for this control Module?

hello.... questions.... they think maybe module is bad? they only tried calibration but didn't diagnose why they couldn't? unfortunately djvan is correct and now at least 2 more calibrations will be needed {2 vans}. parts / parts locater should be easy to find. imo only, of course

hello...a business only doing calibrations then guessing at a "fix" when they can't {wtf}. please tell us all the name of this place so we never go there. codes have a specific procedure to follow to "fix" them. if this code is related to your complaint, you should be able to pinpoint your problem. I would suggest doing that {diagnose code /codes} rather than guessing, throwing / swapping parts, then bringing it back and seeing if it can be calibrated numerous times, preferably somewhere else imo. imo only, of course

They have actually tried - they didn't charge me for their attempt, which is commendable. I will be honest with you, it is extremely hard to find a a specialized mechanic that knows Hondas in and out. Most will turn you away when you mention Calibration or ADAS. The dealer will throw parts at it as well, they will read the same code that I can read on my Autel and on my HDS, I am trying to save some money. I was hoping that someone has more extensive knowledge as far as the Camera/radar and what module controls the units...

hello... ok... there are members here with extensive knowledge. hypothetically speaking, let's say a module etc is "bad", do you really want to plug in another and possibly fry it or something else without finding the root cause / problem as to why the original is cooked. start by diagnosing the codes related to your issue and ill almost guarantee you {no warranty of course} you'll pinpoint your specific problem. you could save money going to the local library and see what repair and educational info they may have available specific to your code / complaint / vehicle and these systems. imo only, of course
