Congratulations @chintureddy, enjoy ur New Odyssey. Can you kindly share the breakdown.I ended up buying 2020 Elite 47465. OTD
That’s actually pretty good given how new the 2020’s are. Did the dealer not have 2019 Elite left, or were they just willing to discount anyway? I’m looking for 2020 Exl Nav Res and dealers are asking MSRP. Nope. With NO anniversary package
Congrats, what state was this?I ended up buying 2020 Elite 47465. OTD
I'm seeing a ton of 2020's listed by where I am, the problem is there are a lot of 2019's leftover. That’s actually pretty good given how new the 2020’s are. Oh I’m seeing a ton too. They are just full price at every dealer here.I'm seeing a ton of 2020's listed by where I am, the problem is there are a lot of 2019's leftover.
$4k off is pretty good for such a new model.Guys,
Today, I purchased a 2020 Honda Odyssey EX-L (Obsidian Blue) in SF Bay Area for the wife.
MSRP: $39,055
Discount: $4,055
Price after Discount: $35,000
OTD w/ California Tax (9.75%) + Lic + Reg + Tire Fee + etc.. = $39,050
No add ons
What do you guys think of price/deal?
I got the same deal from a dealer in Roseville but chose to go to local Bay Area Dealer who matched the price for me.
Thanks! I had only 2 days to research, investigate, negotiate and buy. 2 cars went down on the same day. :-($4k off is pretty good for such a new model.
What was the vehicle purchase price?I ended up buying 2020 Elite 47465. OTD
Is the 44K OTD? If so, I'd do the 2020. You will easily make up the $2k on resale for having a model year newer. I would gladly buy a 2020 EXL Nav Res for $2k more than the 2019. Alas, I can't get anyone even close. (OTD on 2019 is $36k, would gladly pay $38k for 2020.)I have an offer of $44,000 for a 2020 Elite. Probably going to pull trigger on this 2020 since the best I can do on a 2019 is $42,100. Thoughts?

Have you checked the excel list? People are getting 2019 Elites for $40,XXX (base + dest.) Your dealer seems almost $2k too high for 2019.Definitely not OTD.![]()
I'm in CA. I've tried 6-8 dealers. $42,100 is bottom dollar for the 2019 Elite.. I think that includes destination though.Have you checked the excel list? People are getting 2019 Elites for $40,XXX (base + dest.) Your dealer seems almost $2k too high for 2019.
