Just hit 265,000 miles on my 1999 with the original transmission.
I'm the orginal owner and yes, the transmission is slipping but its been doing it for 150,000 miles and I've learned to just let off, let it shift and then get back on the gas. Just had the engine oil analyzed and it came back perfect, he recommed going 7,500 miles between changes, been using Mobil 1 since it was new.

Shooting for 300,000, wish me luck

Wow, this really gives me hope! My 2003 recently started slipping a little at 185k miles on the 2-3 upshift and occasionally pops out of gear on the same upshift. No codes or CEL, cleaned the solenoid screens, changed filter, drain and fill every 10k miles. Now I'm just going to drive it until the tranny dies, which I thought would be about 5-10k miles. I too learned to let off the gas when shifting, unless it's an uphill then you can't or it will downshift back to 2nd. I think I need to teach my wife the same driving habits.
