2nd row seats seem to be loose - 2012

The 2nd row seats on my 2012 TE seem like they are loose and can be shaken. This is producing a rattle when nobody is seated on them. Anyone else experience this? and what was done to fix?

Question, what color are the anchors (the metal loops that the seat attaches)? I saw some pictures where they were metal color, but mine is white. It seems that my seats also have some movement.
My 2011 EX-L NAVI second row seats have developed an annoying squeaking noise. Not sure if it was from using wide mode often or when I removed two of the seats.

Very annoying noise, I have not actually tested if the seats have any play in them.

Mine are black. I think they are body color
Many years ago I had a Town and Country with seat attachment points like this (before their hide away design). I had this squeak issue now and then.
I third black electrical tape around the horizontal area of the in floor bar. Worked but not for long.
I then tired a thin coat of oil. Worked but not for long.
I then tried grease (like wheel bearing grease). Not a messy thick coating but after applying I would remove all be a thin coating. This worked for about a year then I had to reapply.
The seat attachment clamps (hooks) had not adjustment so I could not tighten up anything. I have not taken delivery of my Ody yet but assume there is also no adjustment.
2nd row seats rattle

My 2012 EX 2nd row seats rattle, very annoying. There is too much "play" in them. This got worse when moving the seats to wide-mode and then back to normal mode.
Take it back to the dealer and let them figure it out. It seems that sometimes folks here consider dealers useless (I have occasionally subscribed to that theory), but give 'em a chance to fix it before you go too far down the DIY path. At a minimum, they then have some history that there was an issue. Just a thought....

That's exactly what I am doing Jeff:)

The reason for posting here is because it helps to be better informed about the issue before going to the dealer(is it an isolated or widespread issue, what the possible fix may be, how long it would take etc....). When the service advisor realizes that you know what you are talking about, he or she may be less apt to pull wool over your eyes or dismiss your complaint saying it is "normal behavior".
A very good plan Sorry of that was a bit too obvious, but it seems like there are a lot of folks that seem to rely on forum posts and don't do the obvious - take it to the dealership to have them take a look. I understand the advanced research approach, however, and apologize if my suggestion was not helpful in that regard. :duh:

That said, it is interesting that the seats appear to be increasingly loose after moving between wide and narrow. Is it loose in the front or where it attaches in the back?
Dear Friends

I have the 2012 EX-L with navigation and also have this problem with the second-row seats. I'll heed your advice and give the dealer a chance.

hehe... no problem..... thanks for the advice. The movement seems to be in the seat backs. Planning on a dealer visit shortly. Going in today for a TPMS reset, but I don't think I can get the seats checked today.
