We all know the stock 3rd gen Pilot rims and tires are interchangeable with our beloved Odyssey and has been discussed in length on the forum.
What about the new model 4th gen pilots (2023+)? Based on the searches and research that I have found, the rims appear to be compatible. They are still 5x120 so the lug pattern fit. The stock wheels are 18x8 and +50 offset or 20x8 +50 offset and 64.1 MM hub bore so that is comparable.
The biggest difference that I can find is that the 4th gen run wider tires. 255 vs 245. These are using 255/60/18 or 255/50/20 and even 265/60/18 tires on the Trailsport model.
So the big question is . . . Anyone run these stock wheels AND TIRES these on their stock suspension Ody?
I'm wondering if the slightly larger width will cause any rubbing.
Maybe at full lock?
Searched and did not find any answers.
Anyone try this setup yet?
BTW, these are stock wheels I'm eyeballing for my Ody. I think they will look great.
UPDATE: These specific rims will fit the rear but the front will require spacers to clear the calipers. I used 5mm spacers. The 255/60/18 tires will fit the wheel well, but at full lock it will rub the fender liners, so some adjustment to the wheel well liner with a heat gun will be required. Good luck!
Thanks.
