A/c problem

1938 Views 9 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  ODYCAM
Hello, on my 95 Odyssey, A/C compressor nor condensor fan do not engage.
I have already checked for freon leak and pressure and they look ok.
When we directly powered these two elements; they both spinned.
When we pressed a/c button only radiator fan engage.

What else could we checked to fix this issue ?

Thanks

Charles

I had the same problem with my van and it came to be both A/C and condenser fan relays were burnt. Both relays are located together next to condenser fan on drivers side.

I will check these relays.
I will check these relays.
A/C compressor relay is open; i will replace it.
Thanks,
Charles
After replacing this relay we found a little leak on 'Suction Pipe'; this pipe is located between the evaporator and a flexible hose behind the radiator.
Part# i8032isx0a61
Value is around $160 at Brickell or at Parts.com
Do someone know if i could find one at cheaper price ?
Thanks,

Charles

I am parting out my wrecked 98 EX . If you could give me a picture or diagram of what you need I may be able to help you. Steve
This is a big pipe from the evaporator to a flexible hose behind the
radiator; it has about 2-3 feet long.

See site: https://www.brickellhondaparts.com/honda-odyssey-parts.html

go under : Air conditionner and heater
condenser compressor and lines
item #16 (suction pipe)
Part# 8032ISX0A61
I have finally found this pipe at 'LKQ' in Pintendre where i disinstalled it on a Ody 96.
Hope it would be ok.
