I would be interested in finding what happens after you replace engine mounts as well. Something I notice is the jerk between R and D is significantly less after engine has warmed up.

I agree that in colder weather, it makes more noise until the transmission warms up. Looking at the motor mounts, how does one tell if their worn out without putting the van on a hoist.
I Have a set ready to go in, but the front lower one doesn’t look worn.
The rear one is a bugger to see and the one by the power steering pump looks brand new.
They are all Honda mounts, and the ones on the shelf are knock offs/aftermarket.
How easy or difficult was replacing transmission mounts? Any writeups or video you recommend? Thanks
