Hi Everyone,

Our 2000 Odyssey LX came with an aftermarket remote when we bought it from a private party several years ago.

That remote had no mention of any brand or company name.

Where can I find the key-less remote module on the car also known as the brain?

Thanks !

My guess is under the driver's side dash.
Thank you Mr.New Dad New Van I found it right above the e-brake.

That's it right below. I ordered one off of Ebay today.

"AUDIOVOX keyless entry remote fob ELVAT7A PROOE4"

I will update once I get it.

Thanks again my fellow Canuck.

My aftermarket remote is toast.

How much is the Audiovox unit you are buying? I may be interested...

Hey New Dad New Van,

I(my dad) lost BOTH remotes for my aftermarket key-less entry.

I just bought one remote so that the alarm doesn't keep going off while I'm driving. The only easy way to disengage the alarm that I know of is using the remote.

I bought it from the Ebay seller below.

NEW PRESTIGE AUDIOVOX PURSUIT REMOTE FOB ELVAT7A PROOE4

Be aware though that this remote most likely will only program with a specific keyless entry 'brain'.

These folks apparently have some bad rep online...so be careful...I found this out after I paid.

Also they don't provide tech support for the remote at all or any help in programming it. They ask you to get in touch with the manufacturer. I did acquire instructions (PDF) from the manufacturer if you are interested I'd be glad to share.

I will post my experience when I get the remote.

Cheers friend!
