So some time back I had to replace my battery and when I did I no longer can pick up any radio stations. Its a pioneer deck and everything else is factory. I havnt really done anything to ck except make sure the antenna is still plugged into the deck. It just dosn't make since. Any how what I'm wondering is if anyone has ever had this problem. If not I don't need diagnostic tips I just need to get off my ass.

Never had that happen. If the antenna is plugged in, most likely the tuner is fried. It does not take much of an antenna to get FM signals. Car electronics is my background. For people who wanted to shave their antenna, what I would do is just strip back about 1 foot of shielding and leave it under the dash near the windshield. FM came in just fine with that technique.

Thanks for the input, I assumed it was the head unit but thought I would try to see if it was a ody thing. New cd player from craigslist here I come.
