Exactly. I ordered 100 and use them often. These tend to snap when removing. Now I just replace them and move on. Most of the time a reused clip will be slightly loose and you really don’t want that.

Plastics brittle with age. Even the OEM ones would snap off. I got a different clip tool recently and it’s a bit more successful in removing them correctly. My earlier tool was gripping the heads out on the outer edges. The new one is closer to the shaft. Much more success but like I said earlier I don’t reuse clips anymore.
