Has anyone swapped out the factory speakers on a 2002 Oddessy with aftermarket ones? Factory ones I believe are 3 mounting screws and aftermarket ones are usually 4 mounting screws.Any problems with this exchange?

There have been some. Sinbad comes to mind; he put Pioneer 1695s in front and rear. Pioneers have the matching 3 hole pattern for the doors, but the rear pattern is actually different. Some retrofit is needed with a drill, or you can use only two screws in rear to attach the speakers.

Personally, I have 4 hole Bostons up front in my '01; I just made my own mounting holes, no biggie for me. but it's a comfort thing for you if you want to do it. Watch mounting depth in doors, max is 2.5". Not sure about the rear panels in the '02.

Good Luck!

Chris, yes. Check Links and Tech and do a search and you will find all the information that you need. Aftermarket speakers are a BIG improvement over stock.
