I can warm up the car for a half hour before leaving, and I still won't get any heat to come out. The only time we have felt a slight difference is when we have to accelerate for a long period of time (like going up a hill). The temp gauge barely moves and we've checked the coolant which is fine. We drove for an hour a while back with temps in the teens, and it never warmed up. We were freezing and I've got a newborn!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Your thermostat might be stuck open. Have you taken it in to the dealer yet?

I have a friend who had a problem with a malfunctioning thermostat in his '00...after a little "attention getting" it was fixed under warranty.

I owned a Mazda MPV for four years or so I usually pop the hood and pull out the toolbox for problems like that.

With the Ody I think ... "hey, I've got a warranty".
