Geez, reading this forum sure makes one believe there isn't an Ody on the road BEYOND 55,000 miles on it with it's original transmission. Is this true? I would love to hear from folks who have AT LEAST 55,000 miles on their Ody, preferably with a tow hitch and tow occasionally, to tell me that their Ody has been trouble free. Or at least the drive train has been trouble free. Honestly folks, this forum is starting to sound a lot like forums discussing Chrysler/Dodge products. I gotta say, I sold my extended family on buying Hondas and we all have had outstanding luck with them. But, as much as I hate to say it, my Ody has been very disappointing with numerous problems "out of the box". So, now, tell me Civic and Accord types of good stories. Ya know, 150,000 with no problems and still running strong. Again, ONLY FOLKS WITH 55K MILES OR MORE, PLEASE. Post on and thanks.

My friend has a '99 LX with over 60K and no problems other than the sliding door rattle. He still has the original brakes on it too!!!

Sounds like someone is doing just a bit more than average freeway driving!
