Anyone with TireRack winter set-up? LX wheel covers don't fit

I bought a winter wheel/tire package for my 2002 EX-L and I also bought the LX wheel covers from H&A. The facotory covers don't fit the winter wheels I got from the TireRack. Anyone else? What did you do? Can I modify the covers to make them fit tighter? Currently they go on but are VERY loose. If I were to drive they would fall right off.

The cover are supposed to be bolted on the outside. The shouldn't fall off.

Also you need new bolt from Trevor.

LX steel wheels and ex Alloys use different bolts
Uh Oh!

I installed EX wheels on my LX (2001) and reused the same lugnuts. They seemed to work
fine.

What have I done??

When I put the cover on now, with the wheel already mounted, the cover slips right over the lug nuts, so are the LX nuts larger? Would a NAPA or AutoZone have the nuts? BTW the EX nuts seemed to tighten up just fine if one isn't using wheel covers.

the lx lug nuts have a nylon washer on the end that contacts the wheel. this washer is what holds the wheel cover in place. i think you will have to get them at honda. i leave the covers off myself.
