Haven't found anyone else complain of this in searches.

Our '05 seems to cook the DVD's after about 90 minutes. Definitely worse if car heater running but happens without too.

The DVD's come out warm but I wouldn't say they are cooked on our '10.

Ours would be hot enough to feel like you were getting a mild burn on your skin if you held onto them.

My 2006 had the same issue with DVD's, but usually only backup copies. The originals rarely had problems.
THe picture would stutter and eventually stall after about an hour and half or so.
Never found a solution, my 2011 is fine though.
