I ordered mine long before I got the Ody.

The first thing that you DON'T BREAK because you were able to find out the correct way to disassemble it will more than pay for the manual.

$66 sounds darn reasonable for a Manual. Often, they are much more than that. Usually over $100 easy.

2003 vs. 2004 Manual

I've got a 2003 Ody and have procrastinated until now to order the service manual. Helm now lists both the 1999-2003 and 1999-2004 service manuals. Should I stick with the 2003 manual or go with the 2004 one? They're both the same price.

I'd order the '04 version. It'll contain all the information for the prior years plus any changes (very few) for the '04.

What's the difference? Not sure. Both of the ETM's have the same part number with the exception of one digit. I'm guessing the one that is not yet available is a newer edition. Perhaps a 2nd edition for 2004 model year. I've noticed a few other 2nd edition versions of older Honda authorized service manuals.

I called Helm and spoke to a lady there and she could not tell me the differance between: the KA and non-KA version.

KA = 49 State Emissioned Vehicles
KL = California Emissioned Vehicles
KH = High Altitude Emissioned Vehicles
