Just for reference, I'm posting the actual transmission warranty extension letter that I received for Honda regarding my 2001 Odyssey...

Will they always help with reimbursements on trannys for the liftetime of the vehicle?

It's way past the 7 year expiry date,,sorry.

Nope. But if you paid for a repair prior to receiving this notice, they will reimburse you, even if you no longer own the vehicle.

Do u need to be the original owner?
