Hi Guys
I just completed a successful install of a aftermarket wireless backup system on my new 2011 odyssey EX. Took me close to 4 hrs because of intermittent rain in NJ. The components used were
1) PYLE PLCM7200 7-Inch TFT Mirror Monitor with Rear-View Night Vision Camera - 68.54 (no tax + free shipping) from AMAZON.COM
2) Audiovox ACA300 Wireless Monitor/Back-Up Camera Transmitter/Receiver Kit - 29.96 (no tax + free shipping) from AMAZON.COM
3) Enercell™ 12V/10A Solderless Vehicle Adapter Plug - 5.99 + tax (Local Radioshack)
Total cost of the install - $104.92
Install was pretty straight forward.
Tap the back up light power for the video signal transmitter & the license plate camera.
I used my unused accessory port to power the lcd monitor & video receiver unit.
The only tough task was getting the video cable of the monitor to move behind the passenger side wind shield pillar.
I will write up a more detailed install procedure soon. I will also add pictures.
