I've never use cryogenic frozen rotors, but the science on frozen metal is solid and time proven. I imagine they are not as abrasive, so i might loose a little stopping power but i would think they would far out last non treated rotors.
Does anyone have a negative feedback of frozen rotors?
On a side note. I know slotted can give more stopping power and less fade for racing environments, but i've never seen any study's that supported any advantage of slotted or drilled rotors, as far a longevity goes. I've seen plenty of ads and subjective opinions but that's it but no side by side objective comparisons.
If our problem isn't lack of stopping power or brake fade, i don't see why we would use them. To my knowledge we don't see commercial aircraft, buses, or fleet vehicles or using them, so i wonder about using them when warpage / longevity is our issue. Just my opinion.
