I've always went with AC Delco ceramic rotors and pads. They aren't fancy, but they've given me the longest life and feel just like the OEM parts. I found that Amazon actually had the best price.

The few times I've went with high-end performance brakes like EBC or Brembo, I've not been happy with the feel of them.

I am frequent on an MB forum and the Brembo rotors with Akebono pads have a good reputation as quality replacement pad/rotors. If I needed new pad + rotors I would go with that combination. If it works for Mercedes M class well I doubt you would have any problem with it on your van.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll end up getting centric rotors and akebono pads. I really want to try out the brembo rotors and pads, it comes with the brake pad clips as well.
I went with the Centric premium rotors and Centric ceramic pads. Best brakes that I ever had on my 04 or 06 Ody's. I'm not saying that there isn't a better choice, but compared to OEM and/or auto-store brands, the Centrics win hands-down. Or should that be foot-down? ;)

One minor complaint that I noticed (and that others have noticed too) is a slight groan when slowly releasing the brakes when they are cold. For example, I might be creeping along in traffic while leaving the parking lot at work. I can hear a slight groan just at the release point when inching forward. Once the brakes heat up, the groan goes away.

When I compare that to the stopping power, I don't even consider it an issue. It's been a long time since I've felt the panic associated with a panic stop.
