Brembo Rotors Didn't Fit: Any Thoughts?

6196 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  rjcmstar
I have a 2002 Odyssey LX. Bought some Brembo front rotors. But when my tech tried to install them, he said they didn't quite fit on the hub....off by about 2mm. So I'm sending them back to my parts supplier.

From the box:

OE Ref. # is 45251-S0X-000

Part # 25548

Was I sent the wrong part? Or does this look like the right part but for some reason didn't fit?

Thanks!

And I just called the U.S. distributor for Brembo and that is the correct part number.

My tech is first rate....I doubt it's a mistake on his part.

Weird.
Were the rotors themselves marked? Could be the wrong part in the correct box (wouldn't be the first time that's happened!)

According to Amazon Quick Check, Brembo 25548 (enter year, model), it is the wrong part:
Amazon.com: Brembo 25548 Front Disc Brake Rotor: Automotive

For rotors, I always go to local Autozone and got their "Duralast" rotors, about $42 for my 2007 Odyssey. So far so good a year later.

That's interesting...you're right (about what Amazon says), but over the phone the U.S. distributor for Brembo told me it IS the right part. Confusing....
Tirerack shows 25548 as well (or 65548). I have the Brembo's on my 2004.
I got them a couple of years ago and I *thought* they were 25548's, but
I wouldn't swear to it. I got them from Tirerack. I had no issue with fit.
Both the front and rear Brembo's fit perfectly.
