Hi, I'm a new member from the UK with 98 shuttle/ody problem on intermittent abs light. I thought i should not re-up an old but helpful thread http://www.odyclub.com/forums/28-1995-1998-odyssey/36761-abs-trouble-codes.html so i start a new one here. I have diagnosed my ody and got this code:

1L 5F P 1L 6F P 1L 7F P 1L 1F 7Xblinks before repeat
(note: L=long, F=fast, P=pause)

I thought it would be #56 and #71 however #56 is not in the code list as reffered to RAx Tuning so now i'm not sure.

I've never care about this until now. so it's a new knowledge. What i'll do first is to change the 2 front tyres (they r worn and unevenly inflated.. both have small punctures) and then reset. sifus in here did mention about uneven tyre rotation may cause the abs to light up. cheers

malaysianman: unless you use proton, i think all odys have abs

update: I've replaced the 2 front tyres, abs light has not showed up since then.

update:
i have reset the memory. The abs light came up again during long distance high speed driving together with handbrake light. Just after few stops it went off. I took the reading apparently it is the same as before above. Any recommendations?

Thanks kernel. The handbrake indicating light just turns on once in a while not always and it'll go away soon enough. The previous owner did mentioned about this to me. could be low brake fluid will check that before selling my ody (i'm moving to RB1 ).. and Proton is a malaysian made car.
