Surely in these days of hacking, extensions, and apps, the Honda satellite radio interface can be replaced by a different one. I liked my old after-market sat radio which had 30 presets and would continuously scan for favorite songs on all the stations, sending a notification when there was a hit. Honda currently only allows 12 presets and only scans for sports. Yeah, yeah, I could always use Carplay, but I want it up permanently, not through my phone. Suggestions? Know a guy? Know a workaround?

Agreed.. the 12 set presets in annoying. I also can't stand that every time I go to the channel list it goes back to channel 1. Please. please.. put the channel list on the channel I'm currently on.

It wouldn't be so bad if you could use the up/down steering wheel controls to go numerically through the channels.

While we are at it, can we at least first get the stock Sirius XM radio to work as expected? Seems to me that if you lock it down from being 'hacked' then you need to provide a bug free system.

I can't count how many times I've stopped and shut off the car just to reboot the radio. Not providing a way to reboot on the fly (eg. hold the volume button in for 10 seconds) is a serious design oversight.
