I just read an article on msnbc.com, that said that Honda officials had announced that due to the tremendous demand for Odysseys, the Canadian plant will continue to devote a portion of its output to Odyssey production until March 2003 (which will reduce the output of the new Honda Pilot SUV there), to supplement the Alabama plant. Whether the Canadian plant will only supply Odysseys to the Canadian market remains to be seen.

Good news for potential Odyssey buyers. I hope it doesn't reduce prices too much and affect resale for existing owners...

I just posted on the 2002 board that the lists don't seem as crowded with buyers. Your comment makes me wonder if we should wait a few months so see what happens with the prices. Our area's already at $500 under MSRP (maybe more, I haven't pushed).

We're purely in the "want" mode not need. Anyone think we ought to wait--or am I just kidding myself that demand and pricing will ease?

I hope this doesn't drive down the resale price much.

And.... I'm in contract at MSRP. I've made phone calls and used priceline. noone has made any indication for settling for sub-MSRP. Bummer.
