I've read the stories about canadian odyssey warranties not honoured in the US, but will honda canada honour honda US warranties?

I ask this because I may decide later to move back to canada.

That only applies if you buy a Canadian Odyssey and then take it back to the states to register it.

The warranties are honoured in both countries if:
It is a Canadian Ody registered in Canada or
an American Ody registered in the states.

yes but I'm a canadian thinking of buying an american odyssey with option to return to canada maybe a couple of years down the road.

I never had this problem when I brought my ford probe gt down.

Ha! You would be the first to do it that way.

The problem with the warranties was Honda's answer to stop Canadian Odysseys (which are cheaper) being sold south of the border.

You should not have any problems.

yeah, I do like the canadian ody better because I'm used to daytime running lights. I feel insecure without them. If I buy an ody I want to make sure It will meet my needs for the next decade.

Maybe I can make do with a sports car for now as my wife and I are expecting.
