New 2013 Odyssey. Trying to play music from USB flash drive. I formatted flash drive to FAT32.
System sees files and folders but says that the files are all unplayable. Files are all usual MP3's. I'll try some other format, but all my files are MP3.

Is there some sort of trick to get this to work? Should not be this hard.

thanks,

David

Problem solved! - turns out it did not like the USB flash drive I was using. I just changed the USB Flash Stick and it worked fine. Not sure what the deal was. I read here in the forums that the device needs to be USB 2.0 compatible. Should be backwards compatible. Don't know what version the problem drive was. Surprising that the system is so finicky.

I have the same problem. Using an 8GB stick, some of the MP3s are playable and some are not, on my 2013 Touring Ody. Interestingly, ALL the files are playable on my new 2014 Civic. I'll have to try a different USB stick in the Ody - I'm sure it must be some compatibility issue.
This stick is: Kingston Digital 8GB DataTraveler 101 G2 USB 2.0 Drive - Red (DT101G2/8GBZET) and is formatted FAT32.
The one that seems to work OK on the Ody is: Kingston Digital DataTraveler 101 USB 2.0 Generation 2 - 16 GB Flash Drive DT101G2/16GBZET
Go figure -
