First thing, I am really surprised you original battery has lasted that long. You must take a lot of time/miles drives consistently to keep the battery really healthy. Most people with this GEN 5 ODY have problems with their battery in the 2-3 year range and replace them. You did not say what model you have as it makes a difference. The ODY has 2 different battery they use in the different models. If you have a Auto Start feature (AIS) push button on your center console you will need to purchase a Absorbed Gas Mat (AGM) battery, if not you can buy the standard Lead Acid (LA) battery. The AGM battery cost more than the LA battery. If you belong to Costco you can buy a Interstate battery and you have to replace it, as they do not install them. Or you can go to a Auto Parts store such as Advanced Auto or O'Reiley or Auto Zone or Walmart. This is your choice.

Now why will it not start? If your battery is opened internally, a jumper-ed vehicle will not start it will not work on it. If you get to the point of it being in the accessory mode, pressing the Start/Stop button button again should take you to the Start engine mode (engine turns over and than starts). The ODY is very particular about how much battery voltage you have along with current. Start with the battery being replaced first and see what happens and come back to the ODY forum here and post a message saying if it worked or not.
