My wife insisted that I get the Honda cargo cover for the 98 Ody. But it only works if the rear, disappearing seat is set up. The cargo cover is held in place by hanging cords and the two rear seat head rests. But the headrests obscure about 20% of the view out the rear window. My brilliant solution: Take out the head rests and drop in round headed 3/8" by 3" (or whatever length) machine bolts. The headrest's knife-edged, spring-loaded catch locks nicely into the threaded groove of the bolts. Voila, I can see out the back window now! If I ever need to seat 7 people (probably never) I can put the headrests back in place. I plan to spraypaint the round bolt heads medium grey. Mod cost: under $3. Maybe this is a record for the lowest cost for a mod. Steve Johnson in S. Calif.
