from everyone's advisement... my first accesory was the oem cargo tray.... i now am thinking about getting the cargo mat.... my question is: where does the mat go when the chair is up?

also sidenote.... what have others been doing to protect carpeted that don't have a mat such as the areas between the front and second row seats that don't get coverage from the floor mats? thanks for the input.

You could either put in the magic seat bin or you could roll it up and place it under the magic seat when it's up. It actually fits under there quite nicely - it won't roll around while you're driving. Hope that helps.

I also keep mine under the third seat. I have an old piece of panelling that I put in on top of everything when I have the second row removed.
We purchased a cargo mat from Walmart for about $12.00 that fits quite nicely to cover the back area. Two would cover the whole back area with all seats removed I believe.
They sell the mats in Autozone too but for more money.
In my case, I bought two cargo mats at Walmart in order to cover all the open area when the 3rd seat folded down. When the 3rd seat stands, the mats placed either over or under the 3rd floor mats. It doesn't look bad at all. This is my 2 cents.
