Carpet machine washing

At some point kids put sweet coca cola to the carpet. I tried to clean the carpet of my 1997 Odyssey without removing - nothing helped.

Does anybody have an experience of complete removing of the carpet from the vehicle and washing it in the washer? Any step-by-step instructions for LX 6 seat trim for the full carpet removal and installation? Standard Chilton repair manual does not include such instructions. Google found nothing useful either.

Pop the 8 covers oft the seat bases of the front seats. Remove the bolts then take the front seats out.

Remove the 4 door sill covers. They just pop up to be removed.

Remove the screw that holds the cover of the fuel door release lever. Remove the plastic cover from the center Console. I believe it's 2 or 3 screws?

The Captains chairs in the middle row have 2 release levers on each seat at the base of the rear of the seat. Lift those levers at the same time then lift up from the floor. Slide the seat back one inch then remove both seats.

Close the 3rd Row seat then flip it into the well in the back. You'll see the carpet seam where you'll need to separate the carpet of the 3rd Row and the main piece. Once that is done you should be able to pull the carpet out.

You'll need to use a putty knife or similar to push the edge if the carpet back under the interior plastics.
