I found out yesterday that a rattle I've been looking for for weeks is coming from the center tray. I thought I had that thing fixed!!

Well, this time I took it out of the van and pulled it all apart. What I found was a lot of slop between the parts of the pivot points. Disassembling them and greasing them, then bending the sides of the arms together so they fit tighter when put back together, has eliminated more noises than I thought were coming from the tray. So far, so good.

Chuck; how much hassle would it be for you to make a list of noises you've found & fixed? I know there's some discussions here and there on the forum; but since you're the master of rattles, it would be nice to have a list of 'here's where you may have noises & how I fixed them' in one post.

Nyvram, I posted a collection of fixes under a new topic, called appropriately "A Collection of Fixes".
