I was wondering what sort of documentation you folks with certified cars received with your certified Odyssey. I just bought mine last month but received nothing actually stating it was certified, really nothing (other than loan papers) from Honda itself. It was listed as certified on the www.ehonda.com site and I received the special financing for certified cars, so I’m sure that it is. I was told that the pamphlets for certification are on ‘national backorder’, and I would get one in the mail. Did you get any sort of report from the service department on the certification and what was serviced or replaced? The form I got was dealer specific, part of what they do with every used car, and didn’t seem as complete as the certification list. I’m a little concerned about what I’d do away from my home dealer if I had a problem, not to mention verifying that it is actually certified.

When I purchased the van, I recieved a booklet with all the warranty info. Within a month, I got a Honda certified warranty card and letter in the mail. I asked what specifically had been fixed or replaced on the van during certification and was told the brakes had been done. They did not give me an itemized list but did volunteer to show me a carfax report. It was clean. I did discover that one of the recalls with a wiring harnes was still "open" though. I have yet to take it in for that. Otherwise I was pleased with the warranty coverage and the van exhibits none of the problems that I have seen in this site

Wouldn't you know, when I got home on friday my warranty card had arrived in the mail. I never did recieve the booklet, though. That must be the one on 'national backorder'. I'm going to call Honda and find out about it.
