Just changed my PCV. The old one did not pass the pinch test but still had a muffled rattle after I removed it. The new one had a more pronounced rattle. Hopefully this one will be good for a long time.

Edit: in case someone plans to replace the PCV but does not have the service manual, the torque spec for the little bolt is 9 lb ft (108 lb in).

There have been a couple posts of the outer portion of the PCV snapping off flush with the cover when trying to remove it.
This can happen if its old and brittle and the rubber seal seizes it in place.

Read on the Pilot forum of a fellow who used an appropriately sized lag bolt, and threaded into the hole of what remains of the PCV into the cover.
Then grab the lag bolt with a pair of pliers and its out.

easier than removing the cover!
