This Honda automatic has a 30,000 mile service interval. That is for a normal drain & refill. That replaces approx. 1/3 of the fluid. This is enough renewal in normal circumstances. If one wants to be prudent, then a normal drain & fill every 15,000 miles or every other oil change is a good idea. The service bulletin calls for a "flush" and then defines that as changing the fluid tree times with, in their case, simulated driving in between. NEVER allow a quickie lube place to do a "flush" They may connect the trans fluid lines to a change machine and ruin your transmission. A Honda automatic is not like any other.
