Brand new to the forum and I purchased a 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L with 140k miles. I have an issue when I am at idle I will have the check engine light turn on and the VSA light stays on. The car seems to get stuck in the gear and accelerates very slowly. The code that comes up is P2647. The research I have done all points to replacing the oil pressure sensor/switch. I have done that, cost me $170, and the situation improved. It used to happen almost every time I stopped. Now it may only happen once or twice a day. If I drive it normally the light will go out but it keeps coming back. I have changed the oil and filter but now I am thinking that the transmission fluid may need to be changed as it could be slipping out of gear and triggering the code and VSA light. The other possibility could be a timing belt issue. I wanted to know if anyone has seen this issue before and what did you do to fix the problem?
