Check engine TCC error code? Possible transmission problem?

Well I just purchased a 1999 honda odyssey from a private owner and after I got it home and drove it around for a while longer the check engine light came on and I took it to an autozone. They did the diagnostic check and it came up P740 code for TCC. He told me it might be the torque converter but after looking it up I was reading about something possibly the transmission? I haven't noticed anything really with the way it drives and it was fine when I test drove it. I just wanted to see if anyone had some experience with this problem and might be able to help me figure out whether it would be worth it to just get it fixed or cut and run and try to get my money back.

I would try to get my money back as that may have been the reason why they where selling it. The code you describe usually means a rebuilt tranny is in your future. I do not know about Arizona but in Washington State you can not sell a car with out disclosing all of it's known problems so that could be your avenue of recourse.
