a little off tpoic but after a lot of research lasts night purchased a kidco configure gate ($120) and put it up in no time (maybe 30 minutes while watching raymond). i needed a baby gate for a 6 foot area. looks very nice, seems very strong and easy to operate. i have fussed with a few cheap gates and so far i think this is money well spent.
